About the Role:

We are looking for a talented individual with expertise in fiber optic networks and a strong background in network planning and design. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient network solutions that meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Planning and Design: Develop and implement comprehensive network plans, including capacity management, fiber optic cable installation, and maintenance of fiber systems.
  • Troubleshooting and Resolution: Troubleshoot complex network issues and develop effective resolutions to minimize downtime.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors to ensure seamless fiber leases and path analysis.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with industry standards, such as ITU-T, IEEE, and ANSI.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Network Engineer or relevant position.
  • Skillset: Proven diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skills; good communication skills; and prior experience/knowledge in fiber optic networks, DWDM, OTN, Layer 1 and Layer 2 networking, network topology design, fiber characterization, dark fiber provisioning, SDN, Ethernet, and IP/MPLS.
  • Certifications: Certification/s in CFOT, CCNP, ONF-Certified SDN Associate, or JNCIA-Junos.
  • Tools/Software: Familiarity with network management systems, GIS tools, fiber splicing tools, performance monitoring tools, test equipment, CAD tools, and network simulation software.
  • Amenability: Willingness to work night shifts, US hours, holidays, and overtime; and ability to work in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
