Job Opportunity:

  • Translate user stories into functional applications to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code to meet business requirements.
  • Work in a system that interacts with other systems through REST APIs for seamless integration.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications to drive user engagement.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems to improve overall efficiency.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation to reduce technical debt.
  • Conduct unit testing on written codes to ensure program functionality at the unit level.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Science & Technology or equivalent.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum process, language, and ceremonies is essential.
  • Proficiency in using Java and Spring/SpringBoot is required.
  • Experience in using relational databases (e.g. Oracle) is necessary.
  • Knowledge in continuous integration and continuous delivery tools is beneficial.
  • Solid understanding of API, microservice, and integration concepts and technologies, such as REST, JSON, XML, message queues.
  • Excellent analytical, technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills are required.
  • A solid history of improving knowledge and skills and processes is expected.
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly and respond in a timely manner is essential.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Background in backend, web, and mobile application development.
  • Knowledgeable in using AWS, Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, or any other public cloud platform.
  • Experience in Cloud Native Infrastructure, DevSecOps, and Microservice Architecture.
