Lead Test Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to work on UI and API automation, as well as Agile testing methodologies.
Main Responsibilities:- Understand business requirements and architect a reliable and scalable automation framework for a real-world machine learning platform.
- Automate tests to ensure functional requirements and performance KPIs are met.
- Ensure high product quality through rigorous functional and API level tests.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years of experience with UI Automation tools such as Selenium, and API automation works, Jenkins.
- Knowledge and experience with ROBOT automation framework using Python.
- 3+ years of experience working with Python and/or J2EE technology or equivalent object-oriented paradigm.
- Experience with automating test validation either via API or through database using Snowflake, HIVE or AWS Athena is highly desirable.
- Knowledgeable in Git workflows like branching, merging and conflict resolution.
- Understanding of Agile testing methodologies required.
- Web application testing experience required both in frontend and backend validations.
- Technically well-versed in developing comprehensive test plans covering business use cases and test cases.
- Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, and SQL, NoSQL databases such as Aerospike, Thrift, CI, and AWS is highly desirable.
- Experience working with container-based solution is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability and desire to learn new skills and take on new tasks.
