About the Senior Program Manager Role:

The ideal candidate will lead and coordinate both client and internal projects, participating in multiple projects in a well-organized, efficient, and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project teams, tasks, and external resources within defined tolerances.
  • Ensure the project team is defined and staffed appropriately, and that necessary services are obtained to meet project objectives.
  • Comply with system development, project life cycle, change management, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide oversight of analysis, development, implementation, and maintenance of IT applications and systems.
  • Communicate project progress, concerns, and issues to users, IT, and senior management, managing stakeholders' expectations.
  • E nsure all project requirements and objectives are properly defined and documented.
  • Establish, build, and update project plans, manage deviations from the plan, and identify and manage project risk.
  • Act as a liaison between the IT division and various stakeholders.
  • Express information effectively through clear oral and written presentations.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of program management experience.
  • Solid knowledge of program management frameworks, tools, and practices.
  • Experience in program budgeting, design, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Good business analysis skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate project teams.
  • Ability to build and manage good relationships with customers and stakeholders across business units.
  • Experience supervising a matrix team of associates, contractors, and vendors.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Keen attention to detail and focus on task completion.
