Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Tax Professional to support our team in the United States. The ideal candidate will have experience with tax preparation software and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen and review client-provided tax documents for completeness and accuracy prior to preparation.
  • Enter and review tax data into preparation software with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare and support the filing of federal and state tax returns, including Schedule C and Schedule E.
  • Organize and verify supporting documentation for client returns.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive tax and financial information.
  • Meet established deadlines and collaborate with the team to ensure timely delivery of returns.
  • Respond to client or internal inquiries regarding tax information as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Effectively utilize Lacerte, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, or similar tools.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in screening and data entry.
  • Maintain integrity and professionalism when handling sensitive financial data, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations and company policies.
  • Clear and coherent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • One year of tax preparation experience and stable employment history required.
