Job Title: Title Search Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented title search specialist to conduct thorough research and analysis of various title documents in an efficient manner and furnish accurate final deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research vesting title, surface title, or mineral title using online resources and databases
  • Communicate with field agents regarding necessary research and document requirements
  • Examine and review documents provided by field agents to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Enter required data into reports using specialized software such as CityVerse or client-provided tools
  • Prepare flowcharts, Plats & Deed Plots to visualize complex title information
  • Review other agents' work and make corrections as needed to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Prepare final deliverable for clients within established timeframes and budgets
  • Collaborate with others as part of a team to accomplish common goals and objectives
  • Follow specific instructions regarding software usage and maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information
  • Perform title obligations consistently with title protocol directions and best practices
  • Other duties as assigned to support the success of our organization
Requirements:
  • Preferably holding a Bachelor's degree in History, Political Science, Research, or a related field
  • Strong background in conducting extensive research and maintaining attention to detail
  • Sufficient knowledge to access online records and review documents accurately
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat Pro to prepare reports and documents
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaborate as a team player to achieve common goals
  • Ability to pay close attention to details and present good planning, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional responsibilities as needed
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and comply with applicable laws and regulations
