Overview

Electric Vehicle Installation Specialist

Our organization seeks an organized and proactive Electric Vehicle Installation Specialist to streamline the installation of electric vehicle (EV) chargers.

This role involves acting as a liaison between our teams, utility companies, permitting authorities, and clients—ensuring deadlines are met, documentation is accurate, and communication flows seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure tasks are delivered on schedule
  • Serve as the main point of contact with utility companies and municipal permitting departments
  • Track permits, applications, and approvals, escalating delays when necessary
  • Prepare and review project documentation (service request forms, utility maps, permit packages)
  • Manage project timelines, dependencies, and deliverables in a project management tool
  • Verify installation readiness, including utility upgrades, permits, and material availability
  • Provide technical input leveraging your knowledge of electrical systems to collaborate with engineers and inspectors
  • Communicate project status and timelines clearly with clients
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in project coordination/management within electrical, construction, or utility sectors
  • Strong familiarity with electrical systems and ability to interpret one-line diagrams
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with project management software is a plus
