Job Description

  • This role involves working closely with governments and international organizations to develop and implement effective environment and social safeguards policies and procedures.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing key E&S risks associated with PPP projects, preparing internal documentation, and undertaking site visits as necessary.
  • An excellent ability to analyze complex data and provide recommendations for sustainable development practices is essential for this position.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Environmental Science, Resource/Environmental Economics, Natural Resources Management, or relevant scientific discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of extensive working experience in Environment and Social Safeguards, Natural Resource and Environmental management, policy development, and implementation.
