Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading an agile squad to deliver sprint commitments with high quality, designing application components that are reusable, efficient, and easy to maintain, refactoring existing code to improve reliability, performance, and maintainability, researching, evaluating, and prototyping emerging technologies, mentoring Intermediate and Associate Software Engineers, collaborating closely with Product Owners and other stakeholders in an Agile environment, working closely with other squads to drive innovative solutions to meet business needs, and working closely with software engineers to establish best practices for development, testing, and delivery.

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  2. Minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience
  3. Experience in Frontend and Backend technologies such as HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript, Angular 2+, React, Node, and Java
  4. Experience in working with RDBMS and NoSQL Database
  5. Experience in Framework and API / Service Layer such as Spring Boot (Rest Template, Feign Client, Zuul, Sleuth/Zipkin, Hystrix and Maven), Swagger, Node/Express.
  6. Experience in Monitoring / Logging tools such as New Relic, Devo, and Kibana.
  7. Experience in Test Driven Technologies such as Jasmine, JEST, Mocha, Junit, Mockito (Java)
  8. Experience in Cloud PaaS and microservice architectures in PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) & Kubernetes
  9. Experience in Agile scrum methodologies and experience of working in an Agile team
