As an Intake Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients seeking speech therapy services. You will be the first point of contact for patients, guiding them through the intake process and answering any questions they may have.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound leads via phone and text
  • Build trust and connection quickly, representing our partner practices with professionalism and empathy
  • Use proprietary tools to estimate out-of-pocket insurance costs
  • Match patients with appropriate therapists based on location, specialty, and insurance compatibility
  • Schedule evaluations and follow-ups using EHR and calendar tools
  • Maintain organized records of all communications and outcomes across multiple practices

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional phone presence
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized across multiple systems
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating CRMs, scheduling tools, and communication platforms
  • Availability to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in patient intake, sales, or cold calling
  • Prior exposure to healthcare, insurance coordination, or therapy-related settings
  • Ability to work autonomously and deliver results in a fast-paced, client-facing role
