Treasury Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Strategist to join our Client Solutions Division within the Treasury Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing local currency financing operations and mainstream currency loan hedging.

1. Conceptualize, structure, negotiate, and execute bond issues and derivatives transactions in international and domestic markets.
2. Coordinate with external parties, including underwriters, rating agencies, regulators, and external auditors, as well as internal departments such as Controllers Department, Office of the General Counsel, and Office of Risk Management, for individual bond issues and related swaps.
3. Manage ADB's local currency operations closely with relevant departments.
4. Work with operational departments to mobilize currency and interest rate alternatives for sovereign and private sector borrowers, leading technical discussions and providing detailed cost-benefit analysis.
5. Serve as a key focal point within ADB for loan product-related issues for local and mainstream currency operations, interacting with external parties and internal teams.

• Masters degree or equivalent in finance or business, or University degree in finance, business, accounting, and related fields combined with at least 5 years significant relevant professional experience.
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in international debt capital markets and derivatives.
• Knowledge/experience in the use of Bloomberg / Refinitiv information and pricing platforms.
• Knowledge/experience in the use of spreadsheets with advanced cashflow and pricing models.
• Experience in pricing and issuing bonds and trading derivatives.
• International experience working in several countries.
• Familiarity with terms sheets and other legal documents to support debt, derivatives, and FX transactions.
• Experience working in a small team environment with leadership responsibilities.

ADB offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. The salary will be based on ADB's standards and comparator markets, taking into account your qualifications and experience. The estimated annual salary range is approximately $120,000 - $180,000.
