Main Duties:
  • Coding Guidelines: Proficient in inpatient diagnosis coding guidelines, including CPT/HCPCS code assignment and Evaluation & Management facility coding guidelines.
  • Documentation Review: Skilled in reviewing medical records to abstract relevant clinical information.
  • Charge Verification: Ability to verify charges in the financial system for accuracy and completeness.
Requirements:
  • AHIMA or AAPC approved credential is mandatory.
