About This Position

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Services Engineer to join our team at Deloitte PLT. As a key member of our data services group, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Functions, and other related tools and technologies.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain complex data transformation routines using Python or Scala. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement data warehousing and integration solutions that meet client needs.

As an Azure Data Services Engineer, you will have extensive knowledge on data engineering practices and ETL, as well as experience working with various data tools and technologies. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will enable you to navigate complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders, clients, and team members. Your ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure will be essential in meeting project deadlines and delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer; adept experience in data engineering principles and advanced data manipulation processes
  • Good understanding of key data warehousing fundamentals including modeling techniques like dimensional model creation
  • Extensive knowledge of data engineering practices and ETL
  • Skilled in SQL for query, triage, and remediation
  • Familiarity with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Functions, and other related tools and technologies
