Key Responsibilities

The Asset Liability Risk Management Officer is responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and controlling liquidity risk and interest rate risk in the banking book.

  • Provides support to the MRM Team Head in identifying and assessing liquidity risk and interest rate risk in the banking book.
  • Develops and recommends policies for managing liquidity risk and interest rate risk in the banking book.
  • Collaborates with the MRM Head in completing and delivering the ICAAP document, focusing on risks related to interest rate and liquidity.
Deliverables
  • Weekly treasury risk reports presented to ALCO, including RBCAR/CET1 limit compliance, unimpaired capital, and SBL position, as well as internal and external liquidity risk limits.
  • Monthly estimates of Bank Interest Rate Risk (EaR and EVE) and liquidity risk (MCO).
  • Monthly stress testing of the Bank's EaR, EVE, and MCO profile.
  • Quarterly industry benchmarking of key performance indicators, such as Asset Size, Capital, ROE, RBCAR, CET1, and NPL.
  • Reports covering Interest Rate Risk and Liquidity Risk profiles for ALCO and ROC.
  • ICAAP covering Interest Rate Risk and Liquidity Risk.
  • Annual audit of Financial disclosures covering Interest Rate Risk and Liquidity Risk.
  • Policies related to Interest Rate Risk and Liquidity Risk.
