At Dunsk Kuhner Corp, we are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in Carmona, Cavite. This is a key role that requires strong analytical and communication skills to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
About the Role:
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels by collaborating with sales, marketing, and other relevant departments to gather reliable information on product and customer demand. You will also generate and release purchase orders based on approved demand forecasts and inventory levels, while ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods from vendors. Additionally, you will monitor order status, provide updates to internal clients, and resolve any issues that may impact delivery effectiveness and timeliness. Building and maintaining strong partnerships with vendors, utilizing various tools and software to analyze data related to product demand and trends, and working closely with cross-functional teams are also essential aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other relevant departments to gather reliable information on product and customer demand;
- Maintain optimal inventory levels by generating and releasing purchase orders based on approved demand forecasts and inventory levels;
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods from vendors by coordinating with them constantly;
- Monitor order status and provide updates to internal clients;
- Resolve any issues that may impact delivery effectiveness and timeliness;
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with vendors;
- Utilize various tools and software to analyze data related to product demand and trends;
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve overall objectives;
Requirements:
- Supply planning experience in an FMCG company;
- Experience or exposure in inventory management, operations, or importation is an advantage;
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain, or any related field;
- Willingness to work in Carmona, Cavite;
Desirable Skills:
- Advanced experience in data analysis and sales/marketing trends and data presentation;
- Experience in using ERP systems (advantage if experienced in ERP Next);
- Highly proficient in MS Excel (Pivot tables, graphs, macros, etc.) and PowerPoint;
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills;
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of PHP 45,000 - 60,000 per month, depending on experience.
