Learning Experience Specialist

The role of a Learning Experience Specialist is to create impactful learning experiences and relevant course content by collaborating with subject matter experts from various regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply best practices in instructional design and learning technologies
  • Work with subject matter experts to identify required learning outcomes and target learner populations
  • Determine the most effective delivery mechanisms (e-learning, virtual classroom, face-to-face etc.)
  • Establish instructional goals and develop content that aligns with them
  • For e-learning, visualize instructional graphics, user interface and final product
  • Provide learner interactivity (exercises, activities etc.) that enhance the learning process and learner experience
  • Create supporting materials/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, etc.)
  • Develop modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure course effectiveness and learner attainment
  • Identify outdated or poor quality learning content and suggest recommendations for improvement or replacement
  • Ensure alignment of new content implementation, including prerequisite identification and related/interdependent courses as per curriculum requirements
Requirements:
  • Deep knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
  • Curriculum planning skills
  • Working knowledge of multiple web technologies (HTML) and multimedia formats (jpg, mp4, mp3)
  • Visual design skills (e.g. Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Ability to write effective instructional text, audio, and video scripts
  • BA or MA degree in instructional design, educational technology, or similar field
  • Certification in Instructional Design (preferred)
