As a seasoned Data Architect, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing cutting-edge data pipelines and warehouses. Your expertise in cloud-based solutions, Python, Fast API, and Pydantic will enable our clients to translate their requirements into functional interactive applications.

The Role
  • Developing cloud-based data pipelines and data warehousing solutions using GCP, Python, Fast API & Pydantic.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain systems that meet the highest technical standards.
  • Defining structured practices for source code management, building, and deployment.
  • Designing and implementing data storage solutions that meet business needs.
  • Implementing robust security and data protection measures.
  • Conducting thorough automated testing in line with best practice.
  • Resolving application issues through meticulous troubleshooting and debugging.
  • Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Maintaining version control and build processes using appropriate tools.

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect who has delivered at a senior level in an enterprise environment, possesses practical knowledge of developing real-world solutions and platforms, and has a deep understanding of code, with experience developing in Python and utilizing SQL.

Strong analytical and multitasking skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills, are essential for this role.

Requirements
  • Deep understanding of ELT/ETL pipelines and toolchains.
  • Proficiency in Relational and Document data stores.
  • Knowledge of modern web services architecture.
  • Understanding of modern testing methodologies, tools, and practices.
  • Familiarity with tools such as AWS serverless compute, Apigee, CloudRun, and containerization.
  • Experience with multiple cloud technologies, infrastructure as code technology such as Terraform, and Cloud Formation.
  • Previous consultancy experience is beneficial.
