Community Corrections Case Manager Role

This role offers a chance to make a positive impact in your community by working as a Senior Case Manager (Rural and Remote) with Community Corrections.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring community safety through the case management of adults subject to orders within the community.

You will work collaboratively with relevant Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and organisations to assist in closing the gap of Indigenous over-representation within the criminal justice system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels to negotiate service delivery, priorities, deadlines, resources, and other relevant issues.
  • Work independently, managing complex tasks and prioritising multiple responsibilities.
  • Apply knowledge of legislative frameworks to inform service delivery.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Negotiate sensitive and complex issues with key stakeholders.
  • Develop strong written and oral communication skills.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Be willing to travel and work across various locations; possession of a driver's license, minimum C class Australian license is mandatory.
  • Be prepared to work outside normal hours, travel to other locations, or temporarily work from an alternate location may be required.
  • Complete Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (Community) within 12 months of commencing employment and certification achieved within 18 months.
