About the Role

The SID Global Solutions APAC is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join our team as a Digital Defense Specialist. As a Digital Defense Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and addressing potential cyber security threats, as well as responding to security breaches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identifies potential cyber security threats, addresses current risks, and responds accordingly to security breaches.
  • Monitors continuously the evolving cyber threats and makes necessary actions to adjust the organization's defenses.
  • Develops and implements cyber security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect business data, networks, and systems.
  • Leads the cyber security team to ensure the security of business data, networks, and systems, financial assets, and clients' information/data.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related course.
  • At least 1-3 years of work experience in cyber security, one (1) year of which is in the same capacity.
  • Has extensive knowledge in network security, infrastructure security, and security operations.
  • Experienced with regulatory compliance related to cybersecurity and disaster recovery planning.
  • Proficient in security technologies and tools and has a strong understanding of data privacy regulations.
  • Has excellent leadership and management skills, decision-making skills, communication skills, critical thinking skills, and project management skills.
