As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a vital role in optimizing our cloud infrastructure and streamlining workflows to ensure system reliability.

The Role

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless deployments, optimize system performance, and respond to escalated incidents. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and enhancing cloud-based infrastructure using AWS and Azure
  • Designing, building, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI/CD
  • Creating and implementing reusable solutions to monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve observability with logging and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, Dynatrace, Azure, and AWS services
  • Automating deployments, infrastructure provisioning, and scaling using IaC tools such as Azure Resource Manager, Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible
  • Implementing security best practices, compliance, and risk management across DevOps workflows for various technology stacks
  • Working with development teams to enable reliability, including automated failover, enhance software deployment strategies, and reduce downtime
  • Establishing and implementing best practice patterns for automated deployment of containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Participating in on-call rotation and incident response handling for production environments
  • Demonstrating and modeling DevOps best practices, mentoring other DevOps Engineers
  • Continuously improving system reliability, scalability, and disaster recovery strategies and automation

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps and SRE or Cloud Engineering roles
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native tools
  • Strong understanding of SDLC best practices, platforms, and tools
  • Proven expertise in designing and deploying CI/CD automation and deployment strategies
  • Hands-on experience deploying and managing Infrastructure as Code
  • Solid understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Argo)
  • Experience implementing automated testing in pipelines
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python, or Go) for automation
  • Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with incident response and management
  • Working knowledge of Agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, FAST, etc.) and project delivery experience
  • Financial services experience or familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001) will be preferred
  • Experience with serverless computing solutions like AWS Lambda/Fargate and Azure Functions/Container Apps will be preferred
