Job Description

The Metering Support Assistant plays a pivotal role in the SmartEnergy Management Department, ensuring seamless management of meter data across diverse client portfolios. Key responsibilities include monitoring data quality, resolving discrepancies, coordinating with providers, and optimizing internal system utilization. Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and effective teamwork are essential.

Data Management & Monitoring
  • Identify and retrieve missing or substituted meter data.
  • Manually upload and verify data within the CRM system.
  • Resolve issues related to solar and substituted data.
  • Elevate unresolved data issues to the Meter Leader.
New Data Feed Management
  • Review and activate new meter data feeds.
  • Manage CRM tickets related to new feed activations.
Stakeholder Communication & Support
  • Provide responsive service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with meter providers and retailers for data access.
  • Respond promptly to internal team queries.
System & Record Maintenance
  • Maintain the accuracy of data within internal systems and service records.
  • Promote up-to-date and consistent customer records.
General & Team Responsibilities
  • Engage in collaborative efforts and knowledge sharing.
  • Support reporting tasks and departmental needs as required.
  • Pursue ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Emphasize data confidentiality and service standards.
  • Take ownership of task quality and timeliness to meet established KPIs.
