Job Description

The Technical Support Expert serves as the primary point of contact for UBX's Technology Organization, handling all Information Technology related inquiries, requests or concerns.

  • Respond to IT inquiry or support requests through authorized communication channels.
  • Provide 1st level support to diagnose and resolve IT related issues.
  • Manage and update requests or issues using a ticketing system.
  • Evaluate complex issues and escalate them to higher-level IT staff when necessary.
  • Follow up with users to ensure issues are fully resolved.

Must have:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT Service Operations or Service Desk or similar positions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or similar field.
  • Familiarity with computer networking principles to troubleshoot issues.
  • Experience in using an ITSM tool to create, update, manage tickets with precision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or IT service management framework.
