Job Overview

The primary responsibility of this role is to learn and perform preventive maintenance tasks on simulators and associated systems. The duties include diagnosing and correcting problems on the simulators, utilizing the Maintenance Management System to record and track maintenance activities, and completing designated training activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks on designated simulators.
  • Routine inspection and troubleshooting of simulators and associated systems.
  • Assist with refurbishment and hardware modifications.
  • Learn and adhere to quality management standards.
  • Provide customer service support and address customer needs in a timely manner.
  • Perform housekeeping functions to maintain the simulators as required.
  • Support logistics duties including parts receipt, repair, and testing/validation.
  • Administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Ability to interpret system prints and schematics.
  • Proficiency in operating test equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meter, signal generator, logic analyzer, etc.).
  • Digital and analog theory knowledge.
  • Computer literacy (PC and/or computer architecture).
  • Proficiency in soldering and circuit board repairs.
  • Basic understanding of MS-Office tools.

  • Preventive maintenance skills.
  • Troubleshooting expertise.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Able to work independently.
