Web Development Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Front-End Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in modern JavaScript frameworks and spatial mapping libraries.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop complex front-end applications using React, focusing on functional components, hooks, and state management.
  2. Integrate spatial mapping tools such as Mapbox, Google Maps API, or Esri into web applications, ensuring seamless performance and compatibility.
  3. Optimize application performance across various browsers and devices, utilizing code profiling and build optimization techniques.
  4. Ensure responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility, adhering to industry best practices.
  5. Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL, facilitating efficient data exchange and communication.
  6. Participate in Agile development environments, contributing to sprint planning, daily standups, and code reviews, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing production-level applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Advanced knowledge of React, including efficient use of hooks, state/store patterns, and performance tuning.
  • Proven ability to integrate and work with geospatial mapping libraries, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Deep understanding of responsive web design principles and accessibility best practices, guaranteeing user-friendly experiences.
  • Experience in profiling and optimizing web app performance using modern tooling, enhancing overall application efficiency.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and GraphQL integration patterns, enabling effective data exchange.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments and using Git-based workflows, promoting collaboration and version control.
Preferred Skills:
  • Understanding of geospatial data formats such as GeoJSON, shapefiles, and KMZ, allowing for seamless data integration.
  • Exposure to telecom or utility network planning and infrastructure workflows, providing valuable insights.
  • Familiarity with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, enhancing the design process.
  • Experience with server-side rendering (SSR), React Query, or Redux for state management, improving application performance.
