Job Description:

  • Conduct regular audits of units indicated in the Department's annual audit work plan and perform special investigations as assigned by the Section/Department Head.
  • Ensure that audit reviews and processes adhere to sound internal auditing standards, such as the Institute of Internal Auditors International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing, and relevant codes of ethics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit and assess financial controls to ensure they are adequate and effective.
  • Identify and evaluate risks, recommending mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
  • Perform investigations into alleged instances of fraud or other irregularities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Preferably certified as a Public Accountant or hold an equivalent professional certification, such as CIA, CISA, or CFE.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in retail banking or head office audit in the banking industry.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Willingness to travel to Makati City for assignments.
