Accounting Expert - Technical Lead

The role of Accounting Expert - Technical Lead is a critical position within our organization. As the primary technical authority, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in complex fund accounting services.

This includes providing final review and sign-off on sophisticated accounting deliverables, driving technical excellence and innovation in accounting processes, and leading the development of technical standards and methodologies within the team.

You will serve as the ultimate subject matter expert for complex accounting matters, guiding technical development of team members through client-specific training, coaching, and feedback. Your expertise will also be instrumental in addressing complex client issues, ensuring adherence to client agreements, and escalating when necessary.

We are seeking an individual with a strong background in accounting, finance, or a related field, preferably with a CPA certification. A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, including 4 years in fund accounting, financial reporting, or audit, is required. Proven track records of serving as a subject matter expert in technical accounting and driving process innovation are highly valued.

In addition to your professional qualifications, we are looking for individuals who can demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and cluster partners. A proactive and detail-oriented approach, coupled with a focus on process improvement and staying updated on new methodologies and standards, is essential for this role.
