About the Role

The Accounting and Reporting Specialist position at Bo's Coffee is a critical role that involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing timely reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

This individual will work closely with our accounting team to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our financial data, handle daily transactions, reconciliations, and assist in financial analysis.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Financial Data Management
    1. Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general ledger accounts.
    2. Prepare and distribute financial reports, statements, and documents as required.
    3. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  2. Accounts Payable & Receivable Management
    1. Process and verify invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.
    2. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
    3. Reconcile supplier statements and coordinate payment schedules.
  3. Tax Compliance and Regulatory Requirements
    1. Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, VAT reports, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
    2. Ensure proper documentation for tax audits and compliance with local government regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping (experience in the F&B or retail industry is an advantage).
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation laws, BIR compliance, and accounting standards (PFRS/GAAP).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and MS Excel.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong ethical standards and a high level of professionalism.
