Job Description:
  • Pursue vendor compliance with company information security and data privacy policies by conducting contract reviews and onsite audits.
  • Develop consultative relationships with departments to educate them about risk management and implement best practices to prevent or mitigate loss related to data leakage.
  • Ensure timely resolution of committed resolutions from different divisions, monitoring and reporting progress.
  • Lead and conduct security awareness programs across the enterprise.
  • Establish mandatory policies and standards for information security and data privacy best practices.
  • Govern projects to minimize compliance risks resulting from project plans lacking proper security risk assessments.
  • Represent Information Security in discussions with stakeholders, extending assistance to educate users on complying with company information security and data privacy policies.
  • Act as project manager for initiatives owned by the Information Security division.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to address security incidents, breaches, and cyber threats reported by the security operations team.
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant science, technical, and engineering courses.
  • At least 2 years of experience in information security/data privacy practice.
  • Ability to transition to a fast-paced environment and familiarize themselves with business matters affecting the company's security posture.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with a command of the English language.
  • Keen eye for details with strong planning and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and privacy regulations (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity framework, CIS-CSC, ISO27001, Data Privacy Act) and risk management methodologies.
  • Relevant experience in Identity Access Management and Information Security Incident Response handling is a plus.
  • Experience in designing and securing cloud platforms hosted in Amazon, Azure, and Google.
