Electrical Technician Position

The Warehouse Electrical Technician is responsible for performing routine electrical maintenance and repairs on auctioned items, as well as contributing to general warehouse tasks such as sorting, moving, and organizing incoming stock. This role demands physical strength, technical expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dusty warehouse environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test items for electrical issues prior to display or sale
  • Guarantee safety and proper handling of tools and electrical components
  • Collaborate with coders and checkers to ensure accurate labeling and movement of tested items
  • Assist in lifting, sorting, tagging, and arranging warehouse items when not engaged in repair duties
  • Follow established safety protocols while working with live wires or powered items
Necessary Skills and Qualifications
  • Tesda NC II or equivalent certification in electrical installation is an asset, though not mandatory
  • Hands-on experience in repairing household or industrial appliances
  • Familiarity with fundamental electrical safety practices
  • Able to troubleshoot small appliances and household electrical items
  • Physically fit and safety-conscious
  • No medical conditions that restrict physical work or exposure to dust/heat
  • Must be physically strong and capable of lifting heavy items
  • Willingness to work in a hot, dusty warehouse environment
  • Fast-paced, disciplined, and able to follow instructions effectively
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
