We are seeking a skilled Tax Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, advising clients on tax-related matters, and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local tax laws.

  • Prepare and review U.S. individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1065, etc.)">
  • Advise clients on tax planning, compliance, and structuring matters">
  • Represent clients before the IRS in audits, appeals, and collection cases">
  • Assist in preparing responses to IRS notices and handling tax controversy matters">
  • Ensure timely and accurate filings with adherence to IRS and state-specific guidelines">
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., accounting, legal) on tax issues">
  • Keep up to date with U.S. tax laws, international tax treaties, and IRS updates">
  • Support ITIN application and acceptance agent services (if applicable)">
  • Train junior staff or tax associates as needed">

    • Must be an Enrolled Agent (EA) with current IRS credentials.">
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.">
    • A minimum of 4 years of experience in U.S. tax preparation and consulting.">
    • Strong understanding of U.S. tax codes, especially for individuals and small businesses">
    • Experience with tax software (e.g., Drake, ProSeries, UltraTax, or similar)">
    • Familiarity with FATCA, FBAR, and foreign asset reporting.">
    • Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software">
    • Solid communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients.">
    • Proficient with taxation software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.">
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.">
