Data Operations Expert

A pivotal role in orchestrating and refining data processes to facilitate seamless access, analysis, and decision-making across an organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Management and Optimization:
    • Identify and rectify data quality issues like duplicates, missing values, and inconsistencies.
  • Data Governance and Compliance:
    • Establish and maintain data quality metrics, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Data Pipeline Administration:
    • Manage existing data pipelines to collect data from ingestion, processing, and distribution across different systems.
  • Process Analysis and Improvement:
    • Analyze operational processes to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for enhancement.
  • System Maintenance and Support:
    • Maintain and troubleshoot data and reporting systems, including simple data and reporting tools administrative tasks.
  • BAU Ownership and Incident Resolution:
    • Manage and process existing BAU automated processes. Act as first-level incident support analysts in case of failure and maintenance of Ops Manual for ease of issue resolution.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of any IT or Computer related course preferably Engineering, Business Intelligence, Computer Science or Statistics related.
  • 3 to 5 years experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Competencies: Proficiency in basic SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI).
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to identify patterns and trends in data.
  • Business Acumen and Communication: Understanding of business operations and key performance indicators (KPIs) to effectively translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Interpersonal and Collaboration Skills: Ability to clearly communicate complex data findings to technical and non-technical audiences and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
