Job Summary

We are seeking an ambitious software engineer to join our Cebu/global development team. As a Quality Assurance Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building new features for a worldwide audience, supporting effective localization of products, and perceiving and prioritizing user experience and needs.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the development team and product management team to analyze and define product requirements
  • Design, execute, and review test cases
  • Report test results
  • Test planning
  • Help improve tools and processes
  • Mentor and/or train QA group members
  • Support the QA lead and manager in test planning
  • Collaborate with the development team and other stakeholders in investigating bugs and defects

Requirements
  • At least 7 years of experience testing web applications
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in designing different test types, using different test methodologies
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in designing non-functional test cases
  • Experience in improving test coverage
  • Experience working with an agile team
  • Basic leadership skills
  • Willingness to mentor junior team members
  • Highly collaborative team player
  • Value continuous learning and improvement
  • Good understanding of the software development life cycle and software testing life cycle
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • ISTQB foundation level certified (CTFL)
