Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Intelligence Architect to join our team at TASQ Staffing Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing systems instrumentation platforms, including Splunk, AppDynamics, and AWS CloudWatch.

You will work closely with our client's application and IT services teams to implement application intelligence into existing and new applications. Your expertise in cloud infrastructure setup related to systems intelligence will also be valuable in this position.

To succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in setting up probes for and configuring Splunk, App Dynamics, and open-source application/systems intelligence platforms is required. Experience in cloud infrastructure, preferably on AWS, and UNIX/Linux administration is also essential.

Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement systems instrumentation platforms, including Splunk, AppDynamics, and AWS CloudWatch.
  2. Work with client application and IT services teams to implement application intelligence into existing and new applications.
  3. Develop new application monitoring and systems intelligence processes together with the other members of the team.
  4. Provide Support/Guidance in DevOps, Setup and Infrastructure related topics.
  5. Integrate systems intelligence into the CI/CD pipelines of New or Existing Applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in setting up probes for and configuring Splunk, App Dynamics, and open-source application/systems intelligence platforms.
  • Experience in cloud infrastructure, preferably on AWS.
  • Experience in UNIX/Linux administration.
  • Knowledge in Networking Technologies (DHCP, DNS, Subnetting, etc.).
  • At least one (1) year of experience with scripting (Python, Bash, Shell).
  • Familiar with coding standards and code testing practices.
  • Familiar with other programming languages like Java, PHP, frontend related, etc.
  • Familiar with AWS CloudWatch Metrics.
  • Understands APIs, HIP (Hybrid Integration Platforms), and ESB (Enterprise Service Bus).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects (8-10) at any given time.
