About the Role

The Financial Accounting Professional will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain chart of accounts and oversee books of accounts
  • Review trial balance and accounts reconciliation
  • Perform month-end closing cycle
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and related schedules
  • Collaborate with the Finance Officer in preparing management reports
  • Collaborate with other groups and departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support
  • Taxes computation and reporting
  • Assist the Finance officer to coordinate with the external auditors for the Annual Financial statements' preparation
  • Prepare other government regulatory requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
