Job Title: Data Platform SRE Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Platform SRE Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and cost optimization of platforms like Snowflake, Looker, Alteryx, Power BI, and more.

In this role, you will perform application administration tasks, including installations, connectivity, configuration, upgrades, and patching across cloud and SaaS platforms. You will also monitor platform health, track SLAs, and resolve issues in collaboration with senior team members.

Additionally, you will support automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and enable 'shift-left' operational models. You will document processes, create knowledge base articles, and develop self-service capabilities for internal users.

You will contribute to cost optimization efforts, performance tuning, audit activities, and disaster recovery testing. You will collaborate with security, infrastructure, and governance teams to ensure compliance and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong problem-solving skills and willingness to work across multiple technical domains. You will be adaptable, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of relevant IT experience.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Basic scripting skills (Python preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
