Knowledge Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Knowledge Management Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent governance skills and be able to ensure the health and best practices of our knowledge base.

This is a full-time position that belongs to the Global Learning Innovation and Design (GLID) Team - Training and Development Group, reporting directly to the Instructional Design Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for breaking down complex processes into easy-to-follow steps, creating engaging online articles, guides, and user support content independently.

  • Familiarity with writing and graphics tools, including online platforms, is essential. A strong understanding of formatting techniques (headers, bolding, icons, lists, tables, screenshots) is also required to highlight key points.

  • Data analysis skills are necessary to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions. The ability to learn new knowledge and skills quickly, with a penchant for self-development, is also crucial.

  • Collaborative mindset and adaptability in a fast-paced environment are essential. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask are also required.

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in content writing is preferred. Experience as a knowledgebase writer and administrator is also desirable.

  • Leadership experience and an understanding of adult learning principles are highly valued. Familiarity with Search Engine Optimization principles is also beneficial.

Minimum Requirements

  • Completion of TiVo Training.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with editing strategies and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated spelling, grammar, and time management skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Windows XP, MS Word, MS Excel).
