Maintenance Specialist

GOURMET FOOD MANUFACTURING CORPORATION is seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, with experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. You will work closely with our production team to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-effective solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Maintenance
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential issues and perform repairs as needed.

2. Troubleshooting and Repair
• Diagnose problems with equipment and systems to determine the root cause of issues.
• Perform repairs and replacements as needed to get equipment back online.

3. Quality Control
• Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Implement quality control measures to prevent defects and improve overall product quality.

4. Team Collaboration
• Work closely with production team members to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-effective solutions.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that arise.

5. Continuous Improvement
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed.

7. Other Duties
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
