Sr. Front End WordPress Developer

About the Role

Crafting user interfaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and scalable is a key responsibility of this role.

  • The successful candidate will transform designs into high-quality front-end code using WordPress, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
Key Responsibilities

This includes:

  • Transforming designs into high-quality front-end code using WordPress, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Collaborating with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases.
  • Gathering and refining specifications and requirements based on technical requirements or UX design.
  • Debugging errors, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine performance optimizations.
  • Managing search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Writing high-quality, scalable, and reusable code.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • At least 4 years of experience in developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites using WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, GSAP, and Bootstrap.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, including semantic HTML5 elements, microformats, and WAI-ARIA.
  • Familiarity with CSS preprocessors such as SASS, Less, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS.
  • Expertise in ACF and Gutenberg.
  • Basic proficiency in Google Analytics and Tag Manager.
  • Working knowledge of SEO principles.
  • Experience with build tools such as Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack.
  • Basic proficiency with Figma.
  • Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing.
  • Experience with responsive web design.
  • Familiarity with W3C and W3GAC html standards.
