Job Description

As a seasoned iOS software engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our growing user base and driving innovation in our products. We are seeking an experienced professional who can lead key engineering and product decisions, actively shipping production code for the Speechify iOS app.

The ideal candidate has experience working on scalable products, with a track record of leading various products from inception to decent traction. They should have strong customer obsession, making thoughtful decisions about the evolution of their product and supporting internal teams and designers into taking the right direction.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the existing complex app architecture, using Swift, SwiftUI, and other relevant technologies. They will also participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to building a great asynchronous culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead key engineering and product decisions
  • Actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture
  • Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of the Swift programming language
  • Proficiency in SwiftUI and multithreading programming
  • Experience with CI/CD infrastructure and Fastlane
  • SOLID principles and ability to write well-structured code
  • Excellent Git skills and understanding of different Git strategies
