About the Role

Funtastic International, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team. As an HR Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting various aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition: Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Manage job postings across different platforms, including LinkedIn, job boards, and recruitment agencies. Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement: Act as the go-to person for employee concerns, fostering a supportive and open communication culture. Organize team-building activities, company events, and engagement initiatives to promote a positive work environment. Assist management in addressing employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a professional and timely manner.
  • Training, Development, and Performance Management: Coordinate training programs, workshops, and seminars to enhance employee skills and competencies. Identify key learning opportunities and source relevant training materials (internal and external). Maintain records of employee training progress and ensure compliance with required learning initiatives.
  • Compliance and HR Policy Management: Ensure strict compliance with Philippine labor laws, regulations, and industry standards. Stay updated on HR legal requirements to mitigate risks and protect the company from labor-related issues. Develop, update, and enforce company policies in areas such as attendance, performance, workplace behavior, and disciplinary actions.
  • HR Administration and Office Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems, including attendance, performance reviews, and benefits administration. Process and manage employee documentation, such as contracts, clearances, and government-mandated requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR, etc.). Coordinate with finance to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • HR Systems and Technology Management: Oversee and manage HRIS (Human Resource Information System) and digital tools to improve efficiency in HR processes. Implement automation solutions for administrative tasks to streamline workflows. Utilize Google Workspace and Microsoft Office for HR documentation, communication, and data tracking.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Experience: Fresh graduates with a strong interest in HR and administrative work are welcome to apply. 1-2 years of experience in an HR or administrative role is desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, Philippine labor laws, and compliance requirements.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – you'll be working with employees across all levels.
    • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
    • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in HR records and processes.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling employee and company information.
