Job Description

The VM Manager (Production) plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional Visual Merchandising aesthetics and installations across SM Department Stores. This position oversees all seasonal, SALE, thematic, and special initiated campaigns within the Visual Merchandising Head Office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Campaign Management: Monitor and provide updates on all Visual Merchandising creative projects, assisting the VM Head Office team on creative window layouts and production based on window schemes.
  • Collaboration and Negotiation: Collaborate closely with the VMD Creative/Design team and production partners and vendors on prop research, development, distribution, and budget management.
  • Cost Control and Procurement: Manage and track confirmed cost estimates, negotiate, and manage creatively within the given budget for every project. Work closely with the department superior on procurement of VM materials, production cost control, and identifying waste measures.
  • Logistics and Installation: Oversee the creative campaign ordering process, logistics, and installation for all stores, along with any local production needs.
  • Sourcing and Prop Identification: Outsource external vendors: identify and source props, materials, hardware, etc.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor production & installation constantly during campaign roll-out to ensure output meets quality standards.
