
Chief Compliance Officer

This role leads the development and implementation of a robust compliance framework across global services. The Chief Compliance Officer will ensure that operations align with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Main Responsibilities- Lead compliance risk assessments and control mapping across all functions.
- Develop, maintain, and evolve compliance narratives and control documentation for business processes.
- Partner with process owners to embed controls into standard processes and with delivery leaders to ensure ongoing operational compliance.
- Advise delivery leaders on risk mitigation actions and control execution gaps.
- Design and deliver training programs tailored to compliance requirements across all business units.
- Ensure consistent communication of policy updates and new control expectations across teams.
- Create compliance toolkits to support delivery leaders in coaching their teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of periodic compliance audits and self-assessments.
- Implement a structured self-testing program across all functional units to proactively identify and remediate control gaps before audits.
- Train delivery leaders and team members on executing periodic self-assessments and interpreting results.
- Track trends across self-testing outcomes and escalate systemic issues to process owners and senior leadership.
- Monitor real-time compliance across all delivery hubs and flag emerging issues.
- Coordinate remediation efforts with delivery leaders and track closure of compliance gaps.
- Ensure new projects have built-in compliance checkpoints by working with project teams.
- Partner with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with relevant local regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all business-led projects include compliance and control design from the start and review/approve compliance frameworks for new tools and workflows.
- Align process design changes with compliance requirements and with the process owner.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a global organization.
- Deep expertise in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and operational compliance in shared services.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated success in cross-cultural, virtual team environments.
- Flexible on location but preferably based in one of our global hub locations.
