- We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Management Specialist to join our team at Pointwest. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax regulations and laws in the Philippines.
- In this role, you will supervise accounting staff in both head office and subsidiaries, providing guidance on tax management policies and procedures.
- You will also communicate these policies and procedures to relevant stakeholders, ensuring seamless implementation across the organization.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general accounting or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in tax compliance and PEZA-related processes.
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel, is essential. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills are also required.
- Familiarity with Philippine tax laws, PEZA rules, and regulations is necessary. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for success in this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Accountancy degree
- At least 3 years of experience in general accounting or a related role
- Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, PEZA rules, and regulations
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
