Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our team in Bonifacio Global City. As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our company's accounts.

Key Accountabilities
  • Manage and oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
  • Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures to mitigate financial risks
  • Collaborate with department heads and the executive team to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management-level accounting role, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations, with a proven track record of financial reporting and analysis
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and digital tools, with excellent Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and a relevant professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA) is preferred
