Cloud Security Engineer

The role of a Cloud Security Engineer is to maintain the security and integrity of cloud-based systems. This involves identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and monitoring system health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain deep expertise in cloud security platforms
  • Deliver proactive support to customers, including system monitoring and configuration guidance
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor by providing high-quality troubleshooting and consultations
  • Collaborate with support, research, and product teams to translate insights into actionable product improvements
  • Take full ownership of technical issues and coordinate resolution efforts across cross-functional teams

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a Technical Support (Tier 2) role.
  • Background in technical support, networking, or IT security
  • Strong understanding of WAN, web applications, and protocols (HTTP/S, SSL, DNS, TCP/IP)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for learning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; capable of leading customer interactions and calls
  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, JSON, REST APIs)
  • Understanding of web application security concepts, including the OWASP Top 10
