Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Tax Professional to join our team. As a Tax Supervisor/Manager, you will be responsible for leading tax compliance and planning activities for various clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US taxation, with experience in preparing and reviewing income tax returns, payments, and reports. You will also be responsible for managing client tax databases, assessing and researching complex tax issues, and determining tax savings opportunities.

This is a mid-senior level role that requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and knowledge of accounting systems such as Lacerte, Ultratax, and QuickBooks Online.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tax Compliance and Planning: Lead tax compliance and planning activities for various clients, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of income tax returns, payments, and reports.
  • Client Management: Manage client tax databases, including data entry, maintenance, and analysis.
  • Tax Research and Analysis: Assess and research complex tax issues, identifying solutions and determining tax savings opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and coaching to junior staff members, ensuring accuracy and quality of their work.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: Senior level experience in US tax, with a strong background in individual or corporate income tax.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Software Proficiency: Knowledge of accounting systems such as Lacerte, Ultratax, CCH, OneSource, Karbon, and QuickBooks Online.
