Lead Generation Specialist Job Description

The role of a Lead Generation Specialist is to identify and pursue new business opportunities by conducting outbound cold calls, generating and qualifying leads, and developing relationships with potential clients. This involves using persuasive communication skills to introduce company products/services and nurture leads through the sales funnel.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective clients to introduce company offerings
  • Generate and qualify leads through phone calls and other outreach methods
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the client base
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, leads, and sales activities in the CRM system
  • Follow up with leads to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets for calls, leads, and conversions
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine lead generation strategies
  • Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs to improve product/service offerings

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in telemarketing, cold calling, or lead generation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette and persuasive abilities
  • Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets consistently
