The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Monitoring Critical Systems: Ensuring uptime and performance of critical systems, applications, and business processes.
  2. Performing Regular Service Testing: Conducting periodic system health checks and reporting errors or malfunctions immediately.
  3. Reporting and Escalation: Reporting system breaches in a timely manner based on agreed SLA and creating tickets as necessary.
  4. Maintaining Monitoring Tools: Ensuring all monitoring tools are operational and updating process documentation regularly.
  5. Integrating New Systems: Enrolling and integrating new systems and applications into monitoring tools.
  6. Providing Reports and Insights: Providing reports on detections with insights and recommendations for improvement.
  7. Identifying Key Performance Metrics: Identifying key performance metrics and suggesting automation or process improvements.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At Least One Year of Experience: In IT monitoring or related roles.
  • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering: Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • General Knowledge of IT Infrastructure: General knowledge of IT infrastructure and monitoring methodologies.
  • Certification in ITIL v3: Certification in ITIL v3 is a plus.
  • Understanding of Banking or Financial Services: Understanding of banking or financial services is an advantage.
