Assistant Facilities Manager

This role is responsible for assisting the Facilities Manager in overseeing operations for commercial buildings and TELCO sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership skills, and experience in integrated facilities management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Facilities Manager in overseeing operations for commercial buildings and TELCO sites.
  • Act as site lead, ensuring compliance with procedures and safety regulations.
  • Manage a team of 20+ personnel, including technicians and contractors.
  • Oversee the functioning of MEP systems, HVAC, fire protection, and security.
  • Implement preventative maintenance schedules and manage reactive maintenance.
  • Manage vendor relationships and monitor operational budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Prepare reports on facility performance and respond to emergencies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and a valid PE license.
  • 10+ years in Integrated Facilities Management, managing commercial buildings and TELCO sites.
  • Experience in a senior role with team management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance program implementation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CMMS systems and willingness to travel.
