As a Threat Detection Expert at Infinit-O, you will play a critical role in detecting and analyzing advanced threats.
- You will be responsible for researching new adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) using various sources.
- The ideal candidate will be able to analyze malware and create effective detections, as well as communicate complex technical information to various audiences.
- This role is responsible for identifying threat leads, authoring notes on TTP instances, and conducting malware analysis using sandbox environments and static analysis tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify new adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) using open-source reporting, social media, code repositories, dark web and underground forums, and proprietary sources.
- Analyze malware samples associated with threat leads using sandbox environments and static analysis tools.
- Create malware or vulnerability detections (e.g. YARA, Sigma, Snort, Nuclei) that can be used for threat hunting, detection, and classification.
Requirements:
- B.S. equivalent in computer science, information systems, or cyber intelligence.
- Two years of professional experience in cybersecurity and threat intelligence.
- Technical proficiency in Cyber Threat Intelligence and Threat Intelligence Platforms.
- Experience working with open-source intelligence (OSINT) and/or large data sets.
- Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
